Evidence-based Medicine Workshops These Evidence-based Medicine Workshops were sponsored by the Hospital Authority and co-ordinated by the Office of Educational Services. Overseas speakers were invited to teach EBM protocols to clinicians in public hospitals. Some staff members from the Hospital Authority, the Faculty of Medicine, Chinese University of Hong Kong, were trained by the overseas speakers to serve as tutors in these workshops. Through the training provided by the speakers and by serving as facilitators
in small group discussions, these tutors have and will become valuable
resources in Evidence-Based Medicine protocols for their colleagues.
